About the Circuit

COTA was purpose-built for Formula 1 and draws inspiration from some of the world's greatest corners. The dramatic uphill charge to the blind Turn 1 is one of F1's most exciting opening sequences. The multi-apex Esses through Sector 1 echo Silverstone's Maggots-Becketts, while the stadium section provides close racing and great spectator views.

A flowing high-speed sequence inspired by Silverstone's Maggots–Becketts. Demands commitment and rhythm — a defining test of car balance through Sector 1.
Turns 12–15The Stadium Section

A tight technical section enclosed by grandstands, providing some of the best spectator views in F1. Heavy braking and slow corners create overtaking opportunities.
