Madrid joins the F1 calendar in 2026, taking over the Spanish Grand Prix title from Catalunya. The Madring is a hybrid street-and-permanent circuit built around the IFEMA Exhibition Centre, featuring 22 corners across 5.416 km. Its standout feature is 'La Monumental'—a 24% banked corner stretching 500 metres that drivers take at high speed. The lap blends a fast Esses section, a heavy braking zone where cars drop from 320 km/h to 100 km/h into Turn 1, and a slower technical 'Park' section to close out the lap.
