About the Circuit
Known as Interlagos ('between the lakes'), this legendary circuit runs anti-clockwise through hilly terrain in São Paulo's suburbs. The combination of elevation changes, a long uphill start/finish straight, and the challenging Senna S create demanding conditions. The passionate Brazilian fans and unpredictable weather have produced countless dramatic season-ending races.

Famous Corners
-
Turns 1–2Senna S
Named after Ayrton Senna. A downhill left-right sequence that's the most famous corner pairing at Interlagos and the primary lap-one battleground.
-
Turn 3Curva do Sol
A long, flat-out right-hander leading onto the back straight. Rewards a clean Senna S exit and sets up the run down to Descida do Lago.
-
Turn 4Descida do Lago
The Lakeside Descent — a fast, downhill left-hander that requires bravery to commit fully with the kerbs unsettling the car on entry.
-
Turn 12Junção
A long left-hander that connects the lower section of the circuit back to the uphill start/finish straight. The exit is critical because traction sets up the entire main straight slipstream.
