Famous Corners

Turns 1–2Variante del Rettifilo

The first chicane after the long start/finish straight, where cars decelerate from over 340 km/h to around 80 km/h. The biggest braking zone of the F1 season.
Turn 3Curva Grande

A long, sweeping right-hander historically taken flat-out. With modern aero it's still nearly flat and remains one of Monza's signature commitment corners.
Turns 6–7Lesmo 1 & 2

A pair of right-handers through the Royal Park. The second is faster than it looks and is a make-or-break exit for the run down to Ascari.
Turns 8–10Variante Ascari

Named after two-time World Champion Alberto Ascari. A challenging left-right-left chicane at high speed that defines the middle sector.
Turn 11Curva Parabolica

Officially renamed Curva Alboreto in 2021 in tribute to Michele Alboreto. A long, decreasing-radius right-hander that rewards patience on entry and traction on exit onto the main straight.
